All Aston Cord gas operatives are directly employed by Aston Cord and are therefore all CORGI registered under our corporate registration number.
Aston Cord engineers are constantly updated with current legislation and trained by our parent company Gas Tec Limited.
When recuiting new engineers Aston Cord has very strict guidelines and procedures as follows.
- After a successful interview we ask the new applicant to attend a two day gas assessment course.
- The new applicant must also accompany one of our Senior engineers for a further three day assessment.
- With the permission of the applicant, carry out a background check with an independent company.
- Once all this information has been collated and if it meets our high standards then we are confident the applicant is ready to represent Aston Cord.
- All our engineers are provided with uniforms and sign written company vehicles.
